Your version

The records behind every spray and every load

The spray diary

A record that stands up to a check

A spray only goes in with the operator, equipment, target, times and wind that a pesticide record needs. Late records show up on their own.

  • check Refuses a record without wind speed, direction or times
  • check Flags anything written more than 48 hours after the job
  • check Refuses expired product, a rate above the label maximum or an area bigger than the field
  • check Stock comes off the shed in the same step, never twice

Harvest holds

Know what can come off, and when

Every spray carries the date it clears. Harvest readiness reads them all against the day you plan to start.

  • check Clear dates beside every spray on the crop
  • check A spray with no withholding period holds the crop until someone fixes it
  • check A harvest load is refused while a hold is running
  • check A warning the moment a new spray pushes harvest inside a hold

Recommendations

The agronomist's plan against the shed

Each recommendation shows how much product it needs for the whole field and whether you have it on hand.

  • check Quantity needed against stock for every open recommendation
  • check Overdue, stock short and above label rate called out
  • check A recorded spray closes the recommendation it came from
  • check A printable recommendation sheet with label checks and open scouting notes

The farm office

Your own questions across the season

Scouting, rainfall, re-entry, harvest loads and recorded margins in one place, asked in plain words.

  • check Fields closed to re-entry right now, and until when
  • check Sown crops nobody has walked in 14 days
  • check Recorded margin per hectare at the price you enter
  • check Branded spray records and audit packs in your business name

Switching

How to switch from Agworld

Moving off Agworld means exporting your records, loading your chemical shed first, running a dry run import that flags any gaps before it writes anything, and reconciling totals before you cancel.

  1. 1

    Export your records from Agworld

Agworld's reporting lets you export reports of your fields, crops by season, spray and fertiliser records and harvest loads. Export what the account allows, usually as CSV, and check with Agworld if a report you need is not listed. This is the same data the import step on the other end reads in.

  2. 2

    Load your chemical shed first

Before you bring your crop history across, load your chemical shed: current stock, label rates, withholding periods and re-entry intervals for the products you use. The spray records you import get checked against this shed data, so it needs to be in place first. This step also gives you an early look at any gaps in your product records.

  3. 3

Run a test import and check the gaps

The import reads your Agworld exports as a test run first, checking the whole batch and rolling back on any bad row before anything is written for real. Bring your fields, crops and spray history in this way, then ask for every gap to be listed: missing wind readings, records that do not match your shed, or anything that could not be matched. Fix those before the real load.

  4. 4

Run both systems side by side

Keep Agworld running for a short period while the new records cover the same season. Compare totals: fields, crops sown, spray records logged, harvest loads recorded. Reconcile any difference before you rely on the new system on its own. This is also the point to check your agronomist and anyone else who needs access can see what they need.

  5. 5

    Switch off Agworld

Once your records reconcile and your team is comfortable working from the new system, cancel your Agworld subscription. Maps, imagery, machinery feeds and attachments do not carry over, so confirm nobody still depends on those first. Keep your exported files as a backup of the records you started from.

construction

Where the real effort goes

The real work is mapping your own fields, crops and chemical shed onto the new records, and deciding how much spray and harvest history is worth bringing across rather than starting fresh from today. The import itself handles the mechanics with a test run and rollback, but the checking and reconciling take time and judgement. Enterprise DNA does this part for you when you have them install and run it.

Questions

Instead of Agworld, answered

Is this cheaper than staying with Agworld? expand_more

The free version has no licence charge. Your agent subscription, hosting and time remain separate. A managed version is priced around the migration, custom work and operation you need. We compare that scope with your actual Agworld bill before recommending a switch.

Can I bring my Agworld history with me? expand_more

Agworld's reporting lets you export reports. The free version reads spreadsheet exports of fields, crops by season, spray and fertiliser records and harvest loads, with a test run first and a full roll back on any bad row. We check your exports, map anything with different column names and reconcile the totals as part of the move.

Does it replace the maps and the phone app? expand_more

Not in the free version. It starts with the farm office records, the checks and the printable records. When your team needs a phone screen in the paddock, a field map or a weather station feed, we build it into your custom version.

Can my agronomist still work with me? expand_more

Yes. Your agronomist writes recommendations against your crops and sees what went on and when. In the version we run for you, each person gets their own access to the same records, and you decide who sees what.

Will it tell me if a spray is recorded wrong? expand_more

Yes. It refuses a chemical spray without the operator, equipment, target, times, wind speed and direction, and flags any record made more than 48 hours after the job. The rules come from the NSW pesticide record rules and are changed to suit your state or region. The label always governs the application.
