What FarmIQ charges
FarmIQ bills each farm on its own monthly pack, from NZ$42 up to NZ$249 excluding GST. What you can record, from basic stock changes to NAIT reporting to individual animal history, depends on which pack you pay for.
Lite
NZ$42 per farm per month (excl GST)
Covers the farm map, the phone app, the farm diary, health and safety and farm plans, with no stock recording.
Essentials
NZ$84 per farm per month (excl GST), NZ$1,008 a year for one farm
Adds NAIT reporting, stock changes and animal health treatments to everything in Lite.
Performance+
NZ$190 per farm per month (excl GST)
Adds mob-based recording, movements, liveweights and stock reconciliation.
Pro
NZ$249 per farm per month (excl GST), NZ$2,988 a year for one farm
Adds EID recording, individual animal history and draft lists.
Second and third farm
25% off the pack price
A discount on each extra farm's own pack, not a free farm.
How the bill is built
A monthly fee for every farm
FarmIQ bills each farm separately on its own pack, so a business running more than one property pays more than once. A second and third farm each get 25% off their own pack, but the meter keeps running per farm, per month.
Records locked to your pack
What you can actually record depends on the pack you pay for. NAIT reporting and stock changes start at Essentials, mob recording and liveweights need Performance+, and individual animal history sits on Pro at NZ$249 a farm a month.
Setup and training cost extra
Having FarmIQ draw your farm map costs a small setup fee, and on-site training for your team is paid separately again. Neither is included in the NZ$42 to NZ$249 a month pack price.
A year of FarmIQ
NZ$1,008 to NZ$2,988 a year, one farm
For one farm, FarmIQ runs from NZ$1,008 a year on Essentials to NZ$2,988 a year on Pro, excluding GST, from 1 July 2026. That is before the farm map setup fee and any paid on-site training. A second and third farm each get 25% off their own pack, so more farms means a bigger bill, just a slightly smaller one per farm.

The map and app, mostly
Every pack from Lite to Pro carries the same farm map and phone app. That front end, not the underlying records, is most of what the monthly fee is actually paying for, whichever pack you sit on.
Features held back by pack
NAIT reporting and stock changes only start at Essentials. Mob recording and liveweights need Performance+. Individual animal history and draft lists are Pro only, at NZ$249 a farm a month, the top of the range.
A subscription, not ownership
Your paddocks, mobs, movements and treatments live inside FarmIQ's packs, priced per farm, per month, indefinitely. Stop paying and that history stays with FarmIQ, not with the business that built it up.

Why does the FarmIQ bill tend to grow over time? expand_more
The pack you're on stays at its listed price unless FarmIQ changes its rates, as it has done for 1 July 2026, but most farms move to a higher pack over time to unlock stock recording, mob tracking or individual animal history, and each step up costs more per farm per month.
