Instead of Figured
Stop renting Figured. Own your farm cash planning.
We build your version around how you review cash, production and stock, map your Figured reports into it, and run it for you through Omni by Enterprise DNA.
Figured lists Farm Manager at NZ$100 or A$80 per month for a single farm. That is NZ$1,200 or A$960 across twelve monthly payments.

The Figured comparison
What sits around your farm records
Figured already brings planning and reporting together. The comparison is whether its subscription fits your farm, or whether you want a system built around your own review process.
A monthly farm subscription
Farm Manager is NZ$100 a month in New Zealand or A$80 in Australia. These are public subscription prices, not a measured total bill for your farm.
Another farm adds another charge
The regional Multi-Farm prices list NZ$90 or A$25 per additional farm per month. Check which structure fits the businesses you manage.
Planning around the season
Figured includes budgeting and cash forecasting. Your own version starts with the cash questions you review each month and the assumptions you want recorded beside them.
Production beside the money
Figured offers production tracking. The free base records planned and actual quantities and checks livestock counts against their recorded movements.
Reports for the next discussion
Figured has financial and production reports. Your version produces a seasonal bank review pack and a stock reconciliation working paper in your business name.
A report needs a checked handover
Figured documents copying reports into a spreadsheet without the underlying formulas. Prepare the monthly cash amounts and map the account labels before importing them.

Switching
How to switch from Figured
This is not a single cutover. Figured's import works one farm, one activity and one scenario at a time, so plan on working through your farms one by one rather than moving everything in one go.
- 1
Get your figures out of Figured
Figured does not offer a database export. It documents copying reports into a spreadsheet, without formulas. Export what your account allows, usually CSV or Excel, and check with Figured if you are unsure. Prepare monthly cash rows and map your account labels, working one farm, one activity and one scenario at a time.
- 2
Run a test import first
Before loading anything for real, run a preview. The importer checks the file without writing anything, so you can see what it will do before you commit. It rejects unknown accounts and blank amounts, so labelling problems show up before they reach your live records. Fix the labels and preview again until it comes back clean.
- 3
Check what the import flags
Once loaded, the system flags any month missing a cell for an account or activity you already record for that farm. Missing cells mark that month, and every balance after it, as incomplete. Work through these flags against your Figured reports, account by account, and only enter zero when the source confirms it.
- 4
Run both systems side by side
Keep Figured running while you check the new records against it. Compare monthly cash, production and stock numbers between the two for a short stretch, so any mapping or coverage gaps show up before you rely on the new system alone for a bank review or a Monday check with your team.
- 5
Cancel your Figured subscription
Once the numbers agree and your team is using the new system for its reviews, cancel Figured. Keep your accounting ledger, tax returns and livestock valuations exactly where they are. This move only replaces cash planning, production tracking and stock reconciliation, not the wider accounting work Figured never covered either.
Where the real effort goes
The real work is mapping your own account labels and activities onto the new system, and deciding how much Figured history is worth bringing across rather than starting fresh. The importer only takes prepared, mapped cash rows, one farm at a time, and Figured's reports carry no formulas, so someone has to check the totals by hand. Enterprise DNA does this mapping and preparation work when you have them run your version.

Questions
Instead of Figured, answered
Will this replace our accounting ledger too? expand_more
The free base covers cash planning, production quantities, stock counts and review work. Keep your ledger and accountant for tax returns, valuations and statutory accounts. We agree the wider scope with you before building your version.
Can we bring our Figured history across? expand_more
Figured documents copying reports into a spreadsheet, without formulas. The free import takes prepared monthly cash amounts for one farm, activity and scenario at a time. Account labels need mapping, and totals and balances need checking. Enterprise DNA handles that preparation and scopes any other history you need.
Does it connect to our ledger or work on a phone? expand_more
The free base reads imported cash amounts. Enterprise DNA can build the ledger connections, phone-friendly entry and interfaces into your version after agreeing what your team needs.
How do we know the cash numbers are right? expand_more
The model keeps budgets, forecasts and actuals separate, shows its actuals cutoff and flags blank months. You still reconcile opening cash, account coverage and monthly totals with the source reports. A recorded bank limit is a planning input. The bank pack is a review document, not audited accounts or a borrowing approval.
What do we pay Enterprise DNA, and who owns the system? expand_more
One setup fee, then a retainer for the agreed ongoing work. Your records stay in a database you own and the free base is open source. Hosting and your chosen tools have their own costs if you run it yourself. We scope and price your version on the call.
