The plans

What HaloPSA charges

HaloPSA charges per agent, with a UK rate of £66 a month billed annually, working out to £792 a year at that rate. Your actual bill depends on region and licence needs, and onboarding is charged separately on top.

Per agent licence

£66 per agent per month billed annually (£792 per agent per year)

This is the UK rate Halo displays publicly, your NZ or AU quote depends on region and licence needs, with onboarding priced separately.

How the bill is built

group

Priced per agent, not per client

The subscription covers every technician who needs access to tickets and projects. Customer and end-user portal access is free under Halo's published model, but every staff seat working the desk adds to the recurring bill.

extension

Onboarding billed separately

Halo states that onboarding is required and charged at a bespoke cost, separate from the monthly per-agent rate. Budget for that setup work on top of whatever licence rate you're quoted before you can start using the system.

build

One price for every module

The per-agent fee bundles the service desk, agreements and billing, assets and projects, and reporting into a single subscription. You pay for the full platform whether your business uses every module or only a few of them.

autorenew

Region-dependent quoting

The published £66 a month figure is Halo's UK rate. Your actual New Zealand or Australian cost is quoted separately based on region and licence needs, so the public figure is a reference point rather than your bill.

calendar_month

A year of HaloPSA

What the yearly figure actually is

At the published UK rate of £66 a month billed annually, one agent licence works out to £792 a year. That figure grows with every extra agent you licence, and it does not include the bespoke onboarding cost charged on top before you begin using the system.

Underneath the bill

What you are really paying for

dashboard

A licence for every technician

You pay per agent for staff seat access, so the bill grows with headcount even though your client records, agreements and ticket history don't grow at the same rate. Adding a technician means adding to the recurring subscription.

lock

Modules bundled whether used or not

The service desk, agreements and billing, assets and projects, and reporting are bundled into the one per-agent fee. You pay for the full platform even if your MSP only relies on a handful of those modules day to day.

history

Rented access to your own history

Your tickets, agreements, devices and client history sit inside Halo's platform. The subscription is what keeps you reaching data your own business produced, and stopping payment means losing that reach, not just the software.

The owned alternative

Own the records instead of renting the licence

Enterprise DNA builds your own version of the service desk and commercial records around how your MSP actually runs, brings your HaloPSA data across with a mapped import, and runs it for you. It works on one setup fee then a monthly retainer, not a per-agent licence. A free version exists too, for a business willing to run it themselves.

MSP for Claude Code

One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions

HaloPSA pricing, answered

Does HaloPSA charge NZ and Australian MSPs the same rate? expand_more

Halo publishes a UK rate of £66 per agent per month billed annually. It does not publish a New Zealand or Australian figure, so your actual quote depends on region and licence needs, and you should ask for the exact rate before signing anything.

Is onboarding included in the per-agent price? expand_more

No. Halo states onboarding is bespoke and charged separately from the monthly per-agent subscription. Budget for that setup cost on top of whatever agent licence rate you're quoted for your region before you can start using the system.

What happens to the price as our team grows? expand_more

Because Halo charges per agent, the bill rises with every technician added to the licence, even though your client records, agreements and history don't grow at the same rate. Adding staff means adding to the recurring subscription indefinitely.
