What the subscription buys
A price that grows with every room, and the useful tools held in the upper plans
Little Hotelier prices each property by plan and by the number of bookable rooms. Most of what a motel owner uses every day sits on a small set of records: rooms, rates, bookings, guests and payments.
A charge that climbs with your rooms
Pro is listed at $179 a month for up to 5 rooms, $215 for 10, $305 for 20 and $345 for 30. Add a unit and the bill moves. Twenty rooms on Pro is $3,660 a year.
A cut of every booking on Basics
Basics is listed at $49 a month plus a 1% booking fee, worked out on your Little Hotelier bookings. The busier the year, the bigger the fee.
One property at a time
The price is set per property on its own room count. More than one property goes to the sales team for a quote.
Add-ons on top
The website builder is listed from $55 a month for up to 5 rooms. Guest messaging is an add-on, card payments carry transaction fees, and metasearch and extra channels carry variable booking fees.
Pricing insight on the higher plans
Competitor rate intelligence and rate parity insight start on Pro. Pricing recommendations come with the Revenue Optimiser plan, or as an add-on.
Your history on their terms
The reservation search reaches back 548 days and older reservations cannot be accessed. Guest details are masked 180 days after check-out.
The front desk you own
Know who arrives, what is owed and what each channel really earns
Front desk
Arrivals, rooms and housekeeping in one morning list
Every booking sits in a room night by night, so the desk sees the day before it starts.
- check Arrivals with no room flagged the day before
- check A dirty room with a guest coming goes to the top of the housekeeping board
- check Check-out issues the tax invoice and sends the room to cleaning
- check The night audit prints who is in the building tonight
Money
Folios, deposits and GST worked out for you
Extras, payments and refunds sit on each stay, so the balance is known before the guest reaches the desk.
- check Balances owing at departure and after it, in one list
- check Deposits due and overdue, with the reminder drafted
- check GST on the reduced value for New Zealand stays over four weeks
- check Invoices over $1,000 checked for the guest details they need
Channels
No room sold twice across your channels
Airbnb and Booking.com calendars come in room by room, and your own calendar goes back out.
- check Outside calendars imported for each room
- check Double bookings flagged the moment they appear
- check Your calendar shared with no guest names in it
- check Revenue after commission for every channel
Numbers
Occupancy, rate and the weeks ahead
Every night sold is a record, so the numbers owners actually ask about come straight from the bookings.
- check Occupancy, average rate and revenue per room by month
- check The next twelve weeks on the books, week by week
- check What you picked up in the last seven days
- check Regulars still booking through a commission channel

Questions your booking records can answer
These ten questions work against the free version today. Little Hotelier has reports and insights on its plans too; your own version answers the questions your property actually asks, and you can change them.
Switching
How to switch from Little Hotelier
Moving off Little Hotelier is mostly exporting what you already have, loading it as a test run, checking the results, then running both systems for a while before you switch off the old one.
- 1
Export your reservations
Set up your rooms and room types first, since those aren't part of the export. Then go to Little Hotelier's reservation search and export your bookings, guests, room types and channels, usually as CSV or Excel (check what your account allows). Little Hotelier's search only reaches back 548 days, and guest details are masked 180 days after check-out, so export everything you want to keep before you close the account.
- 2
Load the export, test first
Bring the export into the new system. Run it once as a test so you can see what it would do before anything is written, then run it again for real. Guests are matched by email, new room types and channels are created automatically, and every original column from Little Hotelier is kept. Running the same file a second time adds nothing extra, so a mistake is easy to undo.
- 3
Check what the import flags
After the real run, check the counts against what you expect: number of bookings, guests, room types. Look for anything flagged as a double booking or a clash with an outside calendar such as Airbnb or Booking.com, since these show up the same way they would in daily use. Fix any mismatches before you rely on the new records for a live booking.
- 4
Run both side by side
Keep Little Hotelier running while you use the new system for real bookings, day to day. This lets you check that arrivals, balances and the room board match what you would have seen in Little Hotelier, and gives you time to notice anything missing before you commit. Keep this going until you and anyone on the desk trust the numbers.
- 5
Switch off Little Hotelier
Once the side by side period has passed with no discrepancies, and any live channel connections you need have been set up and tested, close the Little Hotelier account and stop paying for it. Rate plans and live connections to Booking.com or Expedia are set up again in the new version, not copied across automatically, so check those before you go live.
Where the real effort goes
The mechanics of the import are handled for you, guests matched by email, room types and channels created automatically. The real work is deciding what to bring across, how far back your booking history goes given Little Hotelier's own 548-day limit, and how your rate plans and channel connections get set up again in the new system. Enterprise DNA does this part with you when they install and run it for you.

Questions
Instead of Little Hotelier, answered
We rely on the channel manager. What happens to Booking.com and Expedia? expand_more
Little Hotelier pushes rates and availability to the channels over live connections. The free version keeps calendars in step room by room through the calendar links Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo provide, which is slower and does not carry rates, and it flags any room sold twice. Where a property needs live connections, we build them into your version. Keep Little Hotelier running until the new setup has been tested with your channels.
Can you bring our Little Hotelier bookings across? expand_more
Yes. Little Hotelier exports reservations to a spreadsheet file from its reservation search. We bring across bookings, guests, room types and channels, do a test run first and check the counts with you. Its search reaches back 548 days and guest details are masked 180 days after check-out, so we export before you close the account. Rate plans are set up again.
Does it handle GST on long stays? expand_more
Yes. In New Zealand, stays over four weeks carry GST on the reduced value Inland Revenue sets, from the start when the long stay was agreed up front. In Australia the long-term concession applies if you choose it. Each rule cites its Inland Revenue or ATO page. A clean check means your records are complete; your accountant still decides the tax.
How does the cost compare with Little Hotelier? expand_more
Little Hotelier lists Pro at $179 a month for up to 5 rooms, rising to $345 for 30, and Basics at $49 a month plus a 1% booking fee, before tax and per property. Owning your version means one setup fee, then a retainer, with no charge per room and no fee on your bookings.
Can guests book online and pay by card? expand_more
The free version runs the front desk and the back office: bookings come to you and you enter them, and payments are recorded, not taken. When you want guests to book on your website and pay by card, we build the booking page and connect your payment provider in your version.
Bring Sam your room list and your Little Hotelier invoice
Book a 30-minute call with Sam. Bring your rooms and rates, your current Little Hotelier plan and the report you wish you had at the end of the month. We will scope the bookings, channels and paperwork for your version.
