The plans
What MarketMan charges
MarketMan charges a monthly subscription that rises with the plan you choose, from US$249 for Starter to US$299 for Growth, with Enterprise starting from US$449. Add-ons such as read-only data access can increase that bill further, and the actual figure in your agreement may sit above or below the listed rate.
Starter
US$249 a month
Includes a monthly scan allowance for invoice capture and totals US$2,988 over a year at the listed rate.
Growth
US$299 a month
Adds order-by-recipe and smart ordering plus unlimited invoice scanning, totalling US$3,588 over a year.
Enterprise
From US$449 a month
Starts from US$449 and lists advanced reports, with the read-only data access add-on included.
How the bill is built
Priced by plan tier
Starter lists at US$249 a month, Growth at US$299, and Enterprise starts from US$449. Each step up unlocks more of the ordering and reporting features, so the plan your kitchens actually need sets your baseline monthly bill.
Scanning allowance by plan
Starter includes a monthly scan allowance for invoice capture, while Growth lists unlimited invoice scanning. If your kitchens process a high volume of supplier invoices, that difference alone can push you toward the higher plan and its higher charge.
Data access billed separately
Read-only access for connecting other systems to your MarketMan records is listed at US$25 a month for one to three locations. Enterprise includes this access, so smaller plans pay it as an extra line each month.
Actual terms can differ
The listed monthly rates are public figures. Your signed agreement, contract length and any negotiated terms decide what you are actually billed, so the number on the pricing page is a starting point, not a guarantee.
A year of MarketMan
What a year of MarketMan adds up to
Twelve payments at the listed Starter rate total US$2,988 a year. Moving to Growth for order-by-recipe and unlimited scanning brings that to US$3,588 a year. Enterprise, priced from US$449 a month, runs higher still before any add-ons, such as the US$25 monthly data access charge for extra locations.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
A recurring bill for your records
Your recipe costs, stock counts and supplier history sit inside MarketMan's subscription. Keep paying the monthly plan and you keep access. Stop, and the working records built up over years of trading stay tied to that payment.
Features locked to higher plans
Order-by-recipe, smart ordering and unlimited invoice scanning sit on Growth, not Starter. Advanced reporting sits on Enterprise. The plan you can afford, not the work your kitchen actually needs, decides which of these features you get.
Paying extra to connect your own data
Read-only access for linking other systems to your records costs US$25 a month for one to three locations on the lower plans. Enterprise includes it. Either way, seeing your own data outside MarketMan carries its own charge.
The owned alternative
Own the costing system instead of renting it
Enterprise DNA builds Kitchen Costing for Claude Code around how your kitchens actually run, brings your MarketMan records across after reviewing the export, and runs it for you. You pay one setup fee, then a monthly retainer, with no per-seat plan and no feature locked to a higher tier. An owner who wants to run it themselves can start with the free version and add to it as their kitchens need.

Questions
MarketMan pricing, answered
What does MarketMan cost each month right now? expand_more
MarketMan lists Starter at US$249 a month, Growth at US$299, and Enterprise from US$449. Twelve months of Starter comes to US$2,988. Your own agreement, term and any negotiated rate can move the final bill above or below the listed figure.
Are there charges on top of the plan price? expand_more
Yes. Read-only access for connecting other systems to your records is listed at US$25 a month for one to three locations, included only on Enterprise. Scanning allowances also differ, so a kitchen with heavy invoice volume may need Growth to avoid running short.
Is there a way to stop the recurring plan cost altogether? expand_more
Enterprise DNA can build you a version of this costing work that you own, bring your MarketMan records across, and run it for a setup fee then a monthly retainer with no per-seat plan. An owner can also run the free version themselves.
