Instead of TransVirtual

Stop renting TransVirtual. Own your freight operations system.

We build your version around how you move freight, capture PODs, and invoice, bring your TransVirtual data across, and run it for you.

TransVirtual charges a fee on every consignment moved, so the bill scales with your freight volume rather than any value added.

What you are paying for

Most of a TransVirtual bill is the front end

A consignment is one row: who, what, from, to, how heavy, who signed. The screens around those rows are what you rent, and the rent is metered per consignment you move.

paid

A fee on every consignment

Pricing is per consignment moved. The software takes its clip on every item of freight, so the bill scales with your work, not with any value added to it.

extension

Modules for the job you already do

POD capture, rate management, invoicing and integrations arrive as modules to be configured, each one more surface area between you and a working system.

build

A setup project before any value

Zones, rate cards, forms and workflows are configured into the vendor's system. Users describe a learning curve that is overwhelming, and help docs with no flesh on the bones.

schedule

Support on the vendor's clock

Reviewers report fixes taking weeks and months, including things that worked before a change the vendor made. Freight is a time-dependent business; the queue is not.

dashboard

Reports from the menu only

You get the reports the vendor built. "Which lanes keep booking at the minimum charge" and "whose PODs block how many dollars" are your questions, not their charts.

lock

Your history behind their export

Years of connotes, PODs and rates live in their system. Leaving means exports, and the operational record (who ran what, when, signed by whom) is the part that fights you.

What you get instead

A freight operation you talk to

The freight

Booked, rated, run, delivered, on the record

Every consignment is rated off the customer's card or the standard tariff the moment it books, and the board answers in working order: what is late, what is stuck, what is moving for $0.

  • check Booked freight priced at booking; the customer's card beats the standard tariff, and the match is written on the row
  • check The board: late against required dates, stuck on no run, unrated lanes flagged loudly
  • check One consignment's whole story in one command: the lane, the run, the POD, the billing, the claims
  • check Any question you can phrase, not just the reports on the menu

POD to invoice

No POD, no invoice, no argument

The gap between delivered and billed is where freight companies leak money. Here it is one list, one gate, and one billing run.

  • check The POD chase list: every delivered consignment with no signature, oldest first, with the blocked dollars beside it
  • check The billing gate refuses freight with no signed POD; nothing unbillable slips onto an invoice
  • check One command drafts an invoice per customer: a line per consignment, the fuel levy on its own line, due off the account terms
  • check DIFOT per customer from the delivery record, and the customer-facing service report rendered in your brand

The law on the truck

Work time, mass, DG and the fleet clocks, enforced

The rules a carrier lives under are gates and checks, not a manual on a shelf. Each rule cites its source.

  • check Dangerous goods refuse to board an unendorsed driver's run (Dangerous Goods Rule 2005)
  • check A run refuses to load past the truck's rated payload (VDAM Rule 2016)
  • check Driver days checked against the logbook rules: 5.5 hours continuous, 13 in a day (Work Time Rule 2007)
  • check COF, rego and RUC distance tracked per truck, flagged before they run out, and cargo claims decided inside the CCLA windows with the $2,000-per-unit cap stated

Yours

Your database, your rules, your name on the paperwork

Your records in a database you own, a compliance rule book you can edit, and documents that come out with your logo on them.

  • check Import your TransVirtual customers, consignment history with PODs, and rate cards in one command
  • check Checking compliance runs six rules from the Acts and the Rules against your records, each citing its source
  • check Generating your documents puts your brand on invoices, con notes (carrier's risk stated), run sheets and service reports
  • check Add a field, a rule or a whole command by describing it. MIT licence, no vendor to leave.

Questions TransVirtual cannot answer

Every one of these is a real question the demo answers today. Yours will be different, and that is the point.

chat_bubble Which delivered consignments cannot be invoiced right now because no POD is signed, and how many dollars is that, per driver who owes the paperwork?
chat_bubble Which customer's DIFOT misses share a cause: the same run, the same lane, the same day of the week?
chat_bubble What is each customer really worth: freight billed, minus their claims, against the exposure we carry on them?
chat_bubble Which lanes are we carting at the minimum charge so often that the rate card is mispriced?
chat_bubble Which consignments moved for $0 this month because no rate card matched, and which lanes keep doing it?
chat_bubble Whose work time record would fail a roadside inspection this fortnight, and which runs caused it?
chat_bubble Which trucks run out of COF, rego or RUC distance inside the next month, against the runs already planned for them?
chat_bubble What did every load on a truck weigh against its rated payload over the last month, and which runs were over?
chat_bubble Which claims are open past the Act's windows, and what does the $2,000-per-unit cap make each one actually worth?
chat_bubble If two drivers swap runs next week, whose day breaks the 13-hour limit?

Switching

How to switch from TransVirtual

The move is mostly a CSV export and one import command, followed by a short walk around the yard to set the things TransVirtual's records can't actually verify.

  1. 1

    Export your records from TransVirtual

Export your customers, consignment history and rate cards as CSV. That is the export path Freight Ops for Claude Code expects. If your TransVirtual account only offers a different format, export what it allows, usually CSV or Excel, and check with TransVirtual on the exact fields available to you before you pull the files.

  2. 2

Run the import, dry run first

Import your TransVirtual customers, consignments and rates files, doing a test run first so you can see what would happen before anything is written. When the test run looks right, do the same import again for real to load the data.

  3. 3

Check what did not come across

Runs, driver work time records and claims deliberately do not import. The old system's say-so is not a logbook position. Drivers start booking their days from cutover morning, fleet clocks get set from the actual COF labels and RUC licences on the trucks, and checking compliance lists what is still unverified. Walk the yard and expect at least one surprise.

  4. 4

Run both systems side by side

Once your customers, consignments and rate cards are loaded, keep TransVirtual running alongside the new system for a short period. Book and bill real freight through both, compare the board, the invoices and DIFOT against what TransVirtual shows, and use the attention and compliance checks to catch anything that looks off before you commit fully.

  5. 5

    Switch off TransVirtual

Once the two systems agree on live freight and the yard walk is done, drivers are booking their own days and the fleet clocks are set from the trucks themselves, cancel TransVirtual. Your data stays in your own records from then on, with nothing per consignment and no account with anyone to keep paying.

construction

Where the real effort goes

The import command does the mechanical part. The real work is deciding what history to bring across and mapping your own zones, rate cards and rules, plus the yard walk to reset runs, work time and claims properly rather than trusting an old system's say-so. Enterprise DNA does this mapping and cutover work when they install and run it for you.

Questions

Instead of TransVirtual, answered

My drivers sign customers on glass in the app. Does this replace that? expand_more

Not in the free version today, which has no phone app. PODs here are names and times, recorded by the office or imported from whatever captures them, with images staying where your team already puts them. Plenty of operations keep a cheap capture tool at the door and run everything behind it (the board, the billing gate, DIFOT, compliance, the claims) here. When Enterprise DNA builds your version, a driver app with on-glass signing and photo capture can be added.

Is it really free? expand_more

Yes. MIT licence. Run it anywhere, change anything, no account with us, and no fee per consignment ever.

What happens to my consignment history? expand_more

Export customers, consignments and rate cards as CSV and run the import command. Connotes, lanes, weights, delivery dates, POD names, charges and rates come with you. Runs, work time records and claims deliberately start fresh: the migration guide says exactly why, and what to walk the yard with on cutover weekend.

Does it send my invoices? expand_more

Not in the free version today. It drafts one invoice per customer from delivered POD-backed freight, with the fuel levy on its own line, and renders it in your brand. You send it from your own system, and your accounting stays exactly where it is. When Enterprise DNA builds your version, direct sending can be added.

Can the office and the depot both use it? expand_more

Yes. Point everyone at a shared database and they run the same commands against the same data, with no per-seat fee and no per-consignment fee.

Stop paying a clip on every consignment you cart

Thirty minutes with Sam. We look at what TransVirtual costs you per year at your volumes, what your team actually uses, and what the installed version would look like for you. If it is a fit, we install it. If it is not, take the free version and run it yourself.
