The plans
What Wild Apricot charges
Wild Apricot charges a monthly subscription based on the number of contacts in your account, with members and other contacts counted together. At published rates, 500 contacts costs US$154 a month and 50,000 contacts costs US$992 a month, with a lower rate available if you pay annually.
500 contacts
US$154 a month (US$138.60 a month billed annually)
The rate for a smaller association's contact list, with a small saving for paying annually instead of monthly.
50,000 contacts
US$992 a month
The rate for a much larger contact list, billed monthly under the same contact-based pricing.
How the bill is built
Billed by how many contacts you hold
Wild Apricot's pricing selector counts every contact in your account, and members and non-member contacts share the same list. The size of that list decides which monthly rate you pay, so growth in your contact base raises the bill.
Membership administration bundled into the fee
Member profiles, membership levels and renewal dates sit behind the subscription you pay each month. You get access to these records only for as long as you keep paying, at whatever contact-based rate that access now costs.
Event registration included in the package
Event management, including registration lists and attendance, is part of the Wild Apricot package rather than a separate purchase. It is bundled into the same contact-based monthly charge as membership administration.
Website and communication bundled in too
A member website and email or communication tools are included in the package. Building your joining pages, member experience and renewal messages all sit inside the one contact-based subscription, rather than being priced apart.
A year of Wild Apricot
What a year of Wild Apricot can cost
At published monthly rates, 500 contacts adds up to US$1,848 a year, and 50,000 contacts adds up to US$11,904 a year. Paying annually brings the 500-contact rate down to US$138.60 a month, but the bill still rises as your contact list grows, since the plan follows contact count rather than what your association actually uses.
Underneath the bill
What you are really paying for
Access to your own membership records
Member profiles, membership levels and renewal dates are stored inside Wild Apricot's subscription. You are paying, month after month, simply to keep reaching records about your own members that your association created in the first place.
A bundled website and communication tool
The member website, joining pages and communication features are folded into the same contact-based charge as membership and event administration. You cannot unbundle them, so the fee covers tools you may or may not use fully.
A bill that grows with your contact count
Because pricing follows the number of contacts held, not the work done, an association that simply grows its membership list pays more each month, even if its use of events, dues and communication tools stays the same.
The owned alternative
Your own database, run in plain language
Enterprise DNA builds a version of Membership for Claude Code around how your association actually runs, brings your Wild Apricot member, event and payment records across, and then runs it for you. You pay one setup fee and a monthly retainer, with no per-contact or per-seat pricing. An owner who wants to run things themselves can use the free version instead, working from a database the association owns outright.
Membership for Claude Code
One setup fee, then a monthly retainer. No per-seat plans, no tiers, and the system is yours.

Questions
Wild Apricot pricing, answered
Does Wild Apricot charge more as our membership grows? expand_more
Yes. Wild Apricot's pricing is based on the number of contacts in your account, and members and other contacts count together. As your membership list grows past the limit of your current plan, you move up to a higher-priced tier, so the bill rises with your contact count rather than with what you actually use.
Is there a cheaper way to pay for Wild Apricot? expand_more
Wild Apricot offers a lower monthly rate if you pay annually rather than monthly. For 500 contacts, that brings the rate down from US$154 to US$138.60 a month. You still pay by contact count either way, so the yearly total still rises as your list grows.
What are we actually paying for inside that monthly fee? expand_more
The fee bundles membership administration, event registration, a member website and communication tools into one contact-based subscription. You cannot buy pieces separately, so you keep paying for the whole package, priced by contact count, for as long as you want access to your own membership records.
