description

Clinical records

Client profiles and session notes keep the history attached to the person. Those are records your practice creates.

receipt_long

Billing and reporting

Invoices, receipts and reports provide the administrative picture around each course of care.

extension

Optional services

Messaging and extended telehealth have their own charging rules. Compare the services your practice actually uses before deciding to switch.

Your practice, your rules

Start the week with the decisions already visible

Referral courses

See the allowance before the next booking

Track each referral alongside attended and booked individual sessions. Keep the course allowance separate from the calendar-year check.

  • check Count booked visits against the approved course
  • check Record independently checked use with other providers
  • check List courses needing a fresh referral discussion
  • check Show the client, course and remaining allowance together

Clinical administration

Close the loop after the session

Give practitioners a short list of records and reports that need their attention. Clinical findings remain theirs to write.

  • check Find completed sessions with missing or draft notes
  • check Lock finalised notes and append dated corrections
  • check List courses waiting for a referrer report
  • check Review recorded outcome changes without automated interpretation

Practice money

Know which payer owes what

Track invoices and recorded receipts alongside the client relationship. Keep different currencies separate.

  • check Separate client balances from EAP payer balances
  • check Show overdue days and remaining amounts
  • check Create branded account statements
  • check Ask which payer holds the oldest unpaid balance

The weekly rhythm

Make the record answer your questions

Bring funding, notes, appointments and accounts into the same weekly review, then change the review as your practice changes.

  • check List people who attended but have nothing booked next
  • check See missed appointments and waiting clients
  • check Preserve original export rows for later checking
  • check Add your own questions and branded read-only views

How to switch from Zanda

Keep the original export, map the working records and reconcile them before making the move.

  1. 1

    Export from your authorised account

Use Tools > Data Export in Zanda. Export the account records and download uploaded client files separately. Keep the originals securely.

  2. 2

    Preview and map the records

Check the client list first. Match appointment statuses, practitioners, local times and money amounts before activating the diary and accounts.

  3. 3

    Rebuild open referral allowances

Check each signed referral and record use with other providers. Verify consent, upcoming bookings and outstanding accounts with the team.

  4. 4

    Approve the cutover

Compare both systems, test the agreed privacy and recovery arrangements, and have the practice owner approve the move.

Questions

Instead of Zanda (Power Diary), answered

Is Zanda expensive enough to justify replacing? expand_more

That depends on your practice. Its entry prices are modest. The reason to build your own version is control over the workflow and records, not an assumed saving. Compare your full subscription and add-ons with hosting, maintenance and the work you want us to take on.

What happens to our notes and appointment history? expand_more

Zanda provides a data export. The free version preserves its exported records and brings across the client list. Reviewed mappings activate the diary, invoices and receipts. Original notes remain an archive, and uploaded files are retained separately. We reconcile those records and rebuild open referral allowances as part of your migration.

Does it make clinical decisions or submit claims? expand_more

The free version checks recorded individual session allowances and highlights unfinished administration. Your clinicians decide treatment, write clinical findings and approve disclosures. Claiming connections and other services are scoped separately into your version.

Can we have a booking screen and reminders? expand_more

Yes. Enterprise DNA can build the booking experience, desk screen and reminder connections around your practice. We agree the scope and verify each connection before you depend on it.

Can we use real health records immediately? expand_more

Start with the fictional demonstration. Before a live move, agree access controls, secure hosting, backups, retention and how any external service handles health information. The free local version needs that setup. We can build and operate your version with those responsibilities made explicit.

Bring Sam the practice workflow you keep working around

In 30 minutes, show Sam what you use in Zanda, how referrals move through the practice and which weekly decisions still need manual checking. We will map the version your team needs and the work involved in bringing your history across.
