Instead of CartonCloud
Stop renting CartonCloud. Own your warehouse system.
We build your version around how you receive, store and dispatch goods. We map your CartonCloud exports, reconcile the records and run the agreed system for you.
CartonCloud quotes a package tier plus usage volume. Its published pricing explanation gives no fixed subscription amount.

Understand the bill
A package tier, plus the volume moving through it
CartonCloud describes Starter, Professional, Professional Plus and Enterprise packages. Your quote depends on the capabilities and usage your operation needs. Compare that ongoing package with a warehouse system built for your own process.
The base package
The package tier sets the available functionality. Your warehouse records remain the same business asset whichever package you choose.
Usage on top
CartonCloud says volume is priced independently from the package tier. Ask how your order volumes affect the quote.
Warehouse and transport together
The vendor includes warehouse management, transport management and automated billing in its platform. Decide which of those your warehouse actually needs.
Customer portal access
CartonCloud says the customer portal is included without an extra fee per client. Include that capability when comparing your own version.
Mobile warehouse work
Warehouse and driver mobile applications are part of CartonCloud’s offer. We scope your scanner or mobile workflow into the custom build when required.
Connections around the warehouse
CartonCloud offers an integration library and custom integration options. Your own version connects the systems agreed in the build scope.
The owned version
The warehouse week, from arrival to charge review
Receipts
Know whose stock is on each shelf
Customer ownership, product, lot and location stay together through receipts and dispatch.
- check Receive a lot with batch, quantity and expiry
- check Keep held stock visible beside available stock
- check See pallet space used in each location
- check Combine ageing stock and customer follow-up in the same review
Dispatch
Check the stock before releasing the order
Reservations hold the units for the right customer. A supervisor records the actual release.
- check Reserve only the stock owned by the customer
- check Stop dispatch of expired or quarantined lots
- check Show overdue orders beside their release checks
- check Keep each stock deduction with its movement record
Charges
Make the weekly charge draft explain itself
Use agreed customer rates and a dated snapshot. Review the draft before it becomes an approved charge record.
- check Round each lot up to its pallet count
- check Separate storage from receipt and dispatch handling
- check Expose customers missing an agreed rate
- check Keep the saved weekly calculation when the same date is run again
Owner review
Ask across the records you already own
Stock, dispatch, customer notes and charge records live in one database. Add the questions that matter to your warehouse.
- check Read the week’s exceptions in a branded report
- check Prepare stock statements and pick slips
- check Flag missing safety notification and retention records
- check Change your fields and warehouse rules as the business changes

Switching
How to switch from CartonCloud
The product list moves over in one import, but your stock balances, orders, rates and history take mapping work before you can trust the numbers, so plan for a proper check before you rely on it.
- 1
Export your product list from CartonCloud
Pull your product master out of CartonCloud first. Export whatever your account allows, usually CSV or Excel, and check the exact export path with CartonCloud if you are not sure where it sits in your account. This export is the starting point for everything else and is the one record type the free base knows how to bring in directly.
- 2
Preview the file before you import it
Before loading anything for real, preview the CartonCloud export against the import. This is a test run, not a commitment. It shows you what will come across and what will not, so you can check product codes, units and client assignments line up before any of it touches your live records.
- 3
Check what the import flags as missing
Once the product master is in, look at what is flagged. Missing rates, no pallet conversion, no location assigned, these show up as gaps you still need to fill. Stock balances, lots, open orders and rate cards are not inferred from a product export, so expect a list of things to map by hand.
- 4
Run both systems side by side for a while
Keep CartonCloud running while you receive real stock, set locations and rates, and work through a live week on the new system in parallel. Compare what each one says about stock on hand and weekly charges. Do not cut over until the two agree on a real week's figures, not just a demo.
- 5
Turn off CartonCloud once the numbers match
When your stock positions, orders and charge runs on the new system match what CartonCloud was telling you, you are ready to stop paying for it. Cancel the subscription and keep running your warehouse records from the database you now own.
Where the real effort goes
Most of the real work is not the import, it is mapping your own fields, pallet conversions, client rates and stock policies, and deciding how much history to bring across rather than start fresh. Full stock history is not inferred from a product export, it has to be reconstructed. Enterprise DNA does this mapping and migration work when they build or run your version.

Questions
Instead of CartonCloud, answered
How much does CartonCloud cost? expand_more
CartonCloud’s own pricing explanation describes four package tiers with usage volume charged separately. The amount is quoted for your operation. Bring that quote or your current bill to the call so we can compare the work you need.
Will our existing stock and history come across? expand_more
The free base imports the documented product master export. It retains the original product details for further mapping. Stock balances, lots, orders, rate cards and history need separate mapping and reconciliation. Enterprise DNA handles that migration in the agreed scope.
What about scanners, customer access and carrier connections? expand_more
We build the scanner or mobile workflow, customer access and carrier connections your operation requires into your custom version. Agree those needs before switching. The free base demonstrates warehouse office workflows and printable documents.
Will it calculate the same storage charges as CartonCloud? expand_more
The base uses a current weekly stock snapshot, rounds each lot up to pallets, and counts receipt and dispatch handling in base units. Your actual tariffs, minimums and billing periods are mapped and checked against a real week before relying on your version. Charge statements are prepared for review; your accounts process issues the invoice.
Who keeps it running after the switch? expand_more
Run the free version yourself, have us build your version, or have us operate it through Omni by Enterprise DNA. Managed work has one setup fee and then a retainer. We agree the support, backup and change process with you.
