The options

What people compare Opmetrix with

Opmetrix's entry plan is listed at NZ$75 per user per month, with every other tier priced privately, plus a project fee for implementation before the subscription even starts. Owners look for an alternative when that per-seat bill keeps climbing with each new rep, or when reporting, pricing rules and slow stock syncs turn into workarounds nobody signed up for.

Often compared

Perenso

A field sales and merchandising tool named alongside Opmetrix, with export data that businesses moving off Opmetrix can bring across in the same way.

Often compared

Skynamo

Another field sales tool in the same category as Opmetrix, with export data that can be imported the same way when a business switches.

How to choose

How to choose a Opmetrix alternative

  1. 1

What the bill is tied to

Opmetrix charges a monthly seat for every rep, merchandiser, telesales person and manager, on top of a project fee before the subscription starts. Check whether an alternative's cost is tied to headcount, so the bill does not climb every time you add someone to the field.

  2. 2

    Whether your records stay yours

Outlets, call cycles and order history are yours in principle, but they sit inside the vendor's app while you pay for it. Ask whether an alternative keeps your records in a database you own, or whether they stay locked inside someone else's subscription.

  3. 3

Whether it fits your own rules

Discount structures and reporting are the most common complaints, because they only handle one customer and product category combination and reports are a support ticket, not a filter. Check whether a tool can be shaped around your pricing and your fields, or whether you will end up back in a spreadsheet.

  4. 4

    What switching actually involves

Moving off Opmetrix means exporting customers, contacts and order history, then getting that data into whatever comes next. Ask what the import step actually does, whether it is tested before anything changes, and who does that work for you.

The option that fits

Your own field sales system, run for you

Instead of another seat-based subscription, Enterprise DNA builds a version of Field Sales for Claude Code around how your business runs, brings your Opmetrix records across, and runs it for you. There is one setup fee, then a monthly retainer, not a monthly charge for every rep, merchandiser and manager. A free version also exists, which an owner can run themselves.

Questions

Opmetrix alternatives, answered

How much does Opmetrix actually cost compared to an owned system? expand_more

Opmetrix's entry plan is listed at NZ$75 per user per month, with every other tier priced privately and a project fee for implementation before the subscription starts. Enterprise DNA does not charge per seat. It charges one setup fee, then a monthly retainer, regardless of how many reps you have in the field.

Can I move my existing Opmetrix data across if I switch? expand_more

Yes. Customers, contacts and order history can be exported from Opmetrix HQ as a CSV file, then brought in with one import step. Outlets, contacts, reps, territories, call cycles, orders and order lines land in your own database, and a test run shows what would be created before anything changes.

Will a switch work if my reps need an app on their phone in store? expand_more

Not with the free version today. It has no offline phone app, so a rep would run it from a laptop between calls or read an export in the Claude app. If your team needs to key orders at the shelf with no signal, that is something Enterprise DNA can build into your version.

What extra do I get if I pay for a version instead of using the free one? expand_more

The paid version covers installation, the migration off Opmetrix, the ERP connection, work done for your category and your trading terms, compliance rules checked against your own agreements, and someone to call. It runs alongside everything else Enterprise DNA runs for you, for one setup fee then a monthly retainer.
